As of June 1st, Carlo Welten is the Commercial Director of Flight Forum. He brings 15 years of experience in the real estate sector and until recently worked as the location director in Eindhoven for a leading international real estate advisory firm.
Bart Verschut, CEO of Flight Forum, commented on the appointment of the Commercial Director: “Carlo’s expertise and network are of great added value to accelerate the new proposition of Flight Forum. He is a valuable addition to our team. I am very happy with his arrival.”
New proposition Flight Forum
Over the coming years, the Flight Forum area will develop into a green, vibrant location where work, (temporary) living and new forms of entrepreneurship such as education, healthcare clinics and laboratories come together. This transformation goes beyond the boundaries of the existing business park.
As one of the initiators of the new vision Eindhoven Airport District, Flight Forum contributes to the sustainable transition of the entire area around Eindhoven Airport. The new proposition of Flight Forum and the area vision of Eindhoven Airport District go hand in hand. Both are focused on the development towards a future-proof and lively work and living environment through functional mixing, sustainability and the addition and improvement of facilities. It is precisely in this development, profiling and attracting the desired entrepreneurship and partners that Welten sees its strength.
“Eindhoven Airport District – where Flight Forum is located – has an important gateway function for the city and the Brainport region. The new vision, which has been confirmed by important stakeholders in the area, provides direction for the further development into a dynamic and sustainable area where you want to stay. Existing buildings, but certainly also the still available land plots, offer plenty of space for realizing new ideas that fit in with that vision, such as the realization of short-stay housing and related facilities. With great enthusiasm and motivation, I will be discussing this with market parties in the coming period,” says Welten.
