Flight Forum will be more than just a nine to five workplace. It will offer an attractive mix of working, learning, relaxing, and shopping. The street level is intended for public functions and pedestrians, with spaces for rest, relaxation, cafes, and small shops. At Flight Forum, you get the best of both worlds: an affordable, high-quality, and easily accessible location that is transforming into a lively, green, and multifunctional area.
Green environment
A green work and living environment has a positive effect on people’s well-being. That is why Flight Forum has invested heavily in greening the public space in recent years. It is already pleasant to be in the streets between the beautiful buildings at Flight Forum. More projects are planned for the coming year. The square, the center of the office cluster, will become the flagship of the new Flight Forum. A lively square, where residents can use it for meetings, lunch, and events. The new square will have multiple meeting places separated from each other by vegetation inspired by the Kempian Brabant landscape. Birches, oaks, and pines, as well as herb-rich grasslands, form the backdrop. In the shelter, pleasant seating areas will emerge for working, meeting, and having lunch outside.
New opportunities
Flight Forum is transforming from an office area to a lively district of Eindhoven in the coming years. The way has been cleared for other forms of business such as healthcare clinics, companies with laboratory functions, and education. Knowledge workers, migrant workers, (international) students, and people looking for temporary housing can soon find a place to stay at Flight Forum in a pilot project with short-stay homes. With eleven available plots, there is plenty of room for new development at Flight Forum.
Easily accessible
Flight Forum is easily accessible by car thanks to its direct connection to the A2. It is also easily accessible by bike or bus, with the HOV connection and Slowlane providing quick access to the center of Eindhoven, Landgoed De Wielewaal’s greenery, and other campuses in Brainport. And if you prefer to travel outside the Netherlands, Eindhoven Airport is right on your doorstep, providing easy access to many European capitals.
Flight Forum is becoming even more accessible as significant roadworks are currently taking place in Eindhoven Northwest. These works aim to improve the flow of traffic and accessibility to Anthony Fokkerweg, Eindhoven Airport, Flight Forum, and Brainport Industries Campus. Many works have already been completed, including widening the roundabout around the office cluster, shifting the Spottersweg to create a direct link between the A58 and Eindhoven Airport, and building bike bridges over the Spottersweg and the A2/N2. There are also plans for more developments, such as the finalization of the underpass under the A2/N2 and improvements to the Luchthavenweg – Spottersweg – Landsard intersection. Additionally, a new High-Quality Public Transport Line (HOV3) is in the works.
Nature at your doorstep
Flight Forum is located between the third green lung of northwestern Eindhoven and the Brabants Kempen landscape with villages such as Wintelre, Knegsel, Vessem and Middelbeers. Special places such as the Herdgang (PSV) and Landgoed de Wielewaal are also just a stone’s throw away. And with the arrival of the iconic bicycle bridge over the A2, you can be among the fruit trees of the Philips Fruittuin in just 7 minutes.
Taking control of energy
We are increasingly asking more from the electricity grid. Network operators warn of congestion: extra demand for energy cannot be supplied. Therefore, we need to start using the grid more efficiently. In addition to savings, Flight Forum is exploring how locally generated energy can also be used locally. For this purpose, Flight Forum has started a pilot with entrepreneurs at Flight Forum and Eindhoven Airport to set up a local energy network.
