Shortage of space in Brainport? The available land plots at Flight Forum still offer plenty of opportunities for the realization of new buildings for companies in the region.
For years, Flight Forum was mainly known as a one-sided office area. But due to the new development opportunities and the area vision of Eindhoven Airport District, the area is rapidly transforming into a multifunctional, green and vibrant location where work, stay, and (temporary) living converge. The potential of the area is enormous and offers new opportunities for companies that want to grow.
Transformation of Flight Forum
Within a few years, Flight Forum will not only be a workplace, but also a place to (temporarily) live, stay, and relax. Therefore, strong emphasis is being placed on adding lively plinths on the ground floor of office buildings. Think, for example, of a coffee bar, lunchroom, sports facilities, concept store, and a to-go supermarket formula. In addition, green is an important spearhead in making the area more attractive. This is already visible in the streets of the office cluster. Next year, the central square will also undergo a major transformation. The new square will be the calling card of Flight Forum. A cozy heart where employees and future residents can sit outside and meet each other. The eleven available land plots at Flight Forum also offer opportunities for the realization of new buildings for, for example, education, healthcare, laboratories, research spaces, offices, and short-stay living. Buildings can be developed on these plots from 3500 m² GFA to 10,000 m² GFA.
Part of Eindhoven Airport District
Flight Forum is one of the five drivers of the area vision of Eindhoven Airport District, which was adopted by the city council earlier this year. With this vision, objectives have been determined for the themes of liveliness, sustainability, greening, accessibility, and circular economy. Until 2040, Eindhoven Airport District will be developed into an even more attractive area for international companies, among other things with the arrival of a World Trade Center. The new heart of Eindhoven Airport District is formed by the area between the terminal of Eindhoven Airport and the office cluster of Flight Forum and will contribute to a new attractive and green entrance to Eindhoven: the gateway to Brainport.
“The expansion of possibilities at Flight Forum in combination with the ambitions of Eindhoven Airport District offers a huge opportunity for entrepreneurs, institutions, developers, and investors,” says Carlo Welten, Commercial Director of Flight Forum. “We would love it if initiatives from the market come to talk about the possibilities for establishing themselves here. From the ‘Gateway to Brainport,’ the center of Eindhoven and the campuses in Brabant are within easy reach. In that sense, the area is the perfect strategic location for attracting and facilitating (international) employees in the region.”
