The long-awaited transformation of the central square at Flight Forum has officially commenced. The central square, situated amidst the Tech Tower, Luchtruim, Valid, and Center Court buildings, is expected to be mostly completed by the end of December. The designated contractor, Besix, will roll up their sleeves in the coming months to bring the plans to life.
A green oasis in the heart of Flight Forum
Amidst the hustle and bustle of Flight Forum, a green oasis is set to emerge. This revamped central square will serve as a vibrant gathering place for both employees and future (temporary) residents. It will be a space to relax, connect, and enjoy the outdoors. Despite its impressive size of nearly 3000m2, the central square will exude an intimate atmosphere, featuring over 1000m2 of lush trees, graceful grasses, and colorful plants.
Work Schedule
On September 4th, Besix began the demolition work. This includes removing street furniture, asphalt, and excavating the ground, which will take approximately 2 weeks. Afterward, the contractor will commence construction once again. The major works are expected to be completed by the end of December. During this period, we kindly ask for your understanding of any temporary inconvenience. The buildings surrounding the central square will remain accessible at all times. Our goal is to carry out the work swiftly and efficiently so that we can soon enjoy the renewed central square.
